Space Invaders Extreme |
Space Invaders Extreme is a video game released for Nintendo DS and PSP to mark the Space Invaders' 30th anniversary in 2008. Space Invaders Extreme has 2 modes, the first being arcade mode. In arcade mode you go through 5 different stages, each having a boss at the end. The second mode is stage mode where you can play any completed stages in any order.
Gameplay
Gameplay is similar to the
original; the cannon can move left and right on the bottom of the lower screen and can shoot upwards at enemies.
The Invaders also behave like the original game; they appear in formations and slowly move toward the bottom of the screen, randomly firing lasers at the player. As more Invaders are destroyed, the remaining ones move faster.
