Space Invaders 2000 is a Space Invaders title released in 1998 for the PlayStation in Japan only. It was released under the Simple 45 Series budget label.
This version includes three different gameplay modes. Original Mode is a port of the original Space Invaders game, while in the Time Attack mode you must destroy as many invaders as possible within the time limit. Additionally, the game features a VS-Battle Mode, where the screen is split and two players compete in a survival-style gameplay.
As a bonus feature, this game includes demos of G-Darius and Densha de Go! 2.
