Centipede is a boss first appearing in Stage 4-1 "Suppressor Mutation."

It takes the form of many diamonds in a string.
Behavior[]
The "head" segment fires bullets and chases the player. When body segments are destroyed the boss will split similar to the Atari game Centipede. It will continuously deconstruct and rebuild itself into whole if you hit the body segments. It is most vulnerable when all body segments join into one where it can be easily picked off if the player manages to fire at it.
Name[]
It is named to to its shape and references to the Atari game of the same name.
