Cartoonic Space Invaders is another type of a classic arcade original game of the sequel to Space Invaders. Such games can contain which have in any would of a common activities of a cartoon version made by neave, modified by Abran DRozario.

Differences[]

The majority of Cartoonic Space Invaders plays the same of pretty much any Space Invaders game where the Invaders drop bombs, there are four bunkers to seek shelter behind, a high scoring mystery ship to shoot appears over the Invaders, etc.

Of course, the most obvious difference is the look and theme of the game, where the Invaders look like sketches, but they don't as they are invading inside an arcade screen. The bunkers, with each hit they take, start turning into piles of rubble, which the rubble will have to be destroyed so shots can pass through the remains of the bunkers. The bunkers also do not get refreshed in between levels, and once they are totally shot away, they do not return.

The Invaders move which the usual “Space Invaders pulse” can be heard in the background, which, the faster they move as fewer Invaders remain, the speed goes faster and faster. The game is also for one player only, an extra laser base is awarded with the clearing of each level, and when the player either runs out of laser bases or an Invader reaches the bottom of the screen/overruns the player, it says “Game Over” on the screen and A fire truck siren Consecutive shrill is rung.

Of course, it is not only that, randomly, a red flying UFO will fly-by as of that, a Canadian Alerting Attention Signal will sound the Hi-Lo-Hi-Lo voice. When the player hits the UFO, random amounts of points are shown and a Baddy/Gruffy screams "SEGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" and a police siren voice rings. After game over, the Hi-Scores name entry is out and an Apple iMac startup chime is played. After that, on the Hi-Score table after clicking submit, there are no hi-scores listed due to an error on flash and a Creepy and surreal Mac Startup chimes ringing in one go.

Controls[]

  • Move laser base–Keyboard cursor keys (left and right)
  • Fire–Space

Scoring[]

  • Bottom two invader rows–10 points each
  • Middle invader rows–20 points
  • Top invaders–40 points
